Description: There's a term in baseball that I was reminded of last summer called, "Rabbit Ears." It came up because "The Famous Alanna" and I were playing a game of baseball in the yard. I'll throw to her and she hits. She loves it when I start to hassle her at the plate with the usual "chatter" that opposing teams like to throw at the batter. I explained to her that if she let it bother her, it was called having "rabbit ears." You can see where this is going, can't you?
